Food is healing. Sometimes we get so caught up in all the contradicting and complicated rules that society has put out there about food that we forget that it is something which is there to nourish and heal us. Food is something that we have control over and can use to help our bodies to thrive. The food you put into your body has the opportunity to heal and strengthen it and this should be an exciting thing. Food is a never ending source of essential vitamins, minerals, protein, fats, essential carbohydrates, micronutrients, flavonoids, phytosterols and so much more. Food shouldn’t be something to be scared of or something we feel is detrimental to us, it is in fact the power to make us strong, healthy and happy.

As chronic disease slowly spreads through the western world, we are now turning to our diet for answers. Socrates said, "let food be thy medicine", and there has never been a truer word. After studying a diploma in Culinary Medicine, the true power behind food to help heal conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, anxiety, eczema was revealed to me. We are in control of our health through what we put into our body. If we want to feel energised and alive, then we need to be putting bright, colourful and energising food into our body. If it came from a plant, eat it, if it was made in a plant, leave it.

Whether you struggle with disordered eating, nutrition basics, a specific condition or simply want guidance on how to keep yourself energised and well, then we can work together to formulate a sustainable way of life for you through your diet.

Food is a tool that you can use to create yourself into who you want to be. Food energises you. Food nourishes you. Food comforts you. Food fuels you. Food is a creative playground. Food unites people. Food is empowering.

Food isn't the enemy if you ensure that you feed the person you want to be. Don't be afraid of it, don't get drawn into diet bullshit. Release the fear of food and trust in your body to ask for what it needs.
